“Next time I come out here, I’m calling the cops…”

It’s been a while since I’ve had any problems shooting a street photo, so I wasn’t that surprised about the lack of love the citizens of Calgary expressed towards blading this past Sunday. It seemed that every where we went some angry person decided that we were either a menace to the public or ourselves.

Angry citizen number one was a security guard with a chip on her shoulder. This lady obviously had nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon except threaten to call the police because we wouldn’t leave the ledge in her abandoned parking lot alone. Hear threats fell upon deaf ears as we took our sweet ass time skating the ledge. I assumed the police were too busy fighting crime or stuck in a Tim Horton’s drive-thru that they probably wouldn’t be bothering us today. Several attempts at the tall ledge later, Goss nailed his trick we made our way onward in search of our next photo spot…
